The ghosts were "caught on camera" AFTER the photos were developed? I know we're talking about the supernatural here, but this makes no sense.

I can't hear it at the mo, but I'm guessing it's the noise made by the... mandibularly challenged ghost from The Grudge (I've only seen the US version with Sarah Michelle Gellar). Impressions of which are often to be heard around my house in an attempt to freak people out.

Actually, the picture with the disembodied brown head actually did scare the crap out of me, haha. Some haloween masks are creepy, especially at ultra low resolution and in the middle of a film about ghosts. Heh.
