What about all the unanswered payers? <-----Rhetorical
Oh wait didn't Garth Brooks say god's greatest gifts are unanswered payers...???
I am happy that this kid lived though. Amazing thing that natural survival instinct.

I'm trying to understand how an overturned vehicle by the side of the road, goes uninvestigated for a week ...

This one just happened to have a live person inside, who managed to get out and wave someone down ..

Based on the photo and where the photographer must be standing, there's almost no chance the car can be seen from the road.

How many people stood at that bridge rail during that week, the way the photographer did after he knew the car was there? How visible is the car from the traveled way? How visible is the car from the overpass?

Glad the kid's okay, but what the hell was keeping god so busy that he couldn't have pulled him out a week earlier?

So he can keep a kid alive for a week and pull that kid out of a car, but he can't get me a girlfriend? What a self-serving prick.

Well, if he was stuck inside the car ("hanging upside down" according to the article) for the whole week he was missing, how did he get enough liquids to stay alive, let alone mobile and semi-coherent?
My guess is that he got out a lot earlier and managed to get far enough to find something to drink (rainwater maybe); but concussion, shock and other injuries kept him from getting up to the road.

He not only got water this way but little fishes to eat.
And, no, I'm not making it up.

Damned lazy kids! Why, when I was his age, we'd pull ourselves outta wrecks every other day on the way to school!

It doesn't say that he was hanging upside down. It says the car was upside down and he was trapped in it.
