Here is an update on Hanoi Chomsky Part I. In this update, the author adds more information (http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=6088) about the speech by Chomsky in Vietnam and other important information that heroic capitalists should know.

I think Attack of the Clones was a dreadful movie. Even worse than Phantom Menace.

Off-topic, but...

Lest anyone forget, I'd like to remind everyone of Jedi's cop-out on pages 4, 5, and 6 of this thread: http://www.randi.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13368&pagenumber=4 (take a look, its an amusing read).
This is the thread where JK completely makes up the "fact" that the House Unamerican Activities Commitee of the 50's was nicknamed "The Truth Commission", and then, after being beaten like a gong on this point, refuses to admit he ever said it.
I've decided to not let this one die, since it serves as an object lesson to illustrate why no one should ever attempt to engage Jedi knight in serious debate or discussion. He arbitrarily fabricates "factoids" to support his lunatic ramblings, and his credibility is nil.

Now back to your regularly scheduled lunacy...

Jedi.
Whenever you are caught lying you always go on a spree of starting new threads. Why is this so? Do you think that lies are forgotten if the thread drops off the front page? New threads don't equal new credibility....you are swinging in the breeze on the credibility issue, only thing left to do is cut the corpse down.

I was fascinated to read that a psychologist believes that Saddam views his loss in the Gulf War as his greatest triumph. Why? Because for a while, he was one of the most important people in the world.

I think JK works in the same way. There is no such thing as bad publicity or argument. The more attention he gets, the better. in fact, when everyone is homing in for the kill, that is when he is getting the most enjoyment, as he is the centre of attention.

I see your point, but it is not always so.

After losing an argument (or more likely after someone posts evidence that he was cheating), he has a tendency to start new threads as Fool mention, and once (after the gravity calamity) all the new threads were about hate and athiests (sic).

He even declared that he would leave the board and never start a thread again, which seems to indicate that even if the attention was big, losing big was untolerable.

If he had been able to start an interesting thread without claiming that someone is islamo-fascist, or matriarchal totalitarian commie, he would have attracted a lot more of the members - e.g. the thread about Germany and France.

If he would also stop making up facts as he goes, or at least admit it when caught red-handed, so much better. :)

I had to start the new Chomsky II thread because it was new information about the Chomsky I thread.

And you couldn't have put this in the "old" Chomsky thread because... ?????????

Bleh! Part II should have been called "Attack on the Colon", especially the way my guts were after that schloker.

I mean, WTF is up with Anakin in that one? Whining to Padema, "Obi-Wan never lets me go out, he always wants me to clean up my room without using the Force, he's always on me about my homework..." Jeeeez, this is the guy who's going to be the fear of the Empire?

And I really didn't need all those scenes of Anakin masturbating while peeping on Amidala. (In Denmark we got to see the uncut version.)

What???? They actually showed him punishing the bishop? Polishing the helmet? Pounding the pork? or any other term I can use to avoid Hal decorating my post with asterisks?

Actually that gravity fiasco was the most hilarious thing I have ever seen on this forum, I forget where it is...Bjorn may have a link? Its worth reading anytime you feel like a laugh....Even Franko had to break the "trolls never disagree with each other" law and back away from Jedi....It was one of the most brilliant displays of basic ignorance you could wish to see. The guy claims higher education....well, he must have been asleep during his basic education.... I remember people were printing Jedi's posts and reading them out at work...Jedi was cracking up millions of people, He really should think of a career in stand up comedy.

Edited to add.
Found it!

I really hope Howard Stern is consulted on the next Star Wars movie.

It would probably have quite a few scenes that Hal may not like us discussing here in JREF land.

I trust you've all read this review (http://www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/film/clonesreview.html) of Attack of the Clones? I'm particularly fond of their discussion about the name of the poop planet.
