Not wishing to feel left out, it would appear that British 'Truthers' are jumping on the bandwagon. Apparently the 07 Jul 05 bombings were an inside job now....

Truly stunned...
ETA: You have to scroll halfway down the page for the real craziness to start...

You were "death" then?
Yeah we used to hand out badges to people banned on the loose change board but it just sort of became silly.
We've been through 7/7 conspiraloonary before. Search the archive.

Are there 9/11 conspiracy groups in every European country? Which are the most active?
I would assume that they interweave with anti-Iraq war groups. Which is my segue to remember that in 2002-03, my own proposal that instead of invading Iraq, we should invade Germany. Look, let's compare; the roads are superb, the facilities outstanding, and we've done it before. How could that not be better than invading Iraq?

Agree with SDC. I am serving in Germany at the moment - consider me the 'Advance Party'!

There are 7/7 conspiraloons? I've never heard of them before. There's all types complaining about how badly it was handled and the usual stuff of how they should have know about it and stopped it, but I've never seen anyone actually claim it was anything to do with the government.

Don't confuse anti-war with conspiracy nuts. The vast majority of people who protest against the Iraq war, or any war, have perfectly legitimate reasons for doing so. The conspiraloons might try to claim support from anti-war people because they agree on one point, but they are tiny minority that don't get any more notice than they deserve.
As for invading Germany, the trouble is that they all speak German. I think we should invade Italy instead. Much nicer language and some decent weather.

Are there conspiracy theory groups in Spain with regard to the ... 11 March? The commuter train bombings. For that matter, how do the British 7/7 conspiracy theorists deal with the 9/11 matter?

From what I have seen, they feel obliged to go along with it as best as they can - the less fantastical elements anyway! It's hard for them to justify one without the other, and it's supposedly all tied in anyway.... :boggled:

Trouble is, when the old bill run about murdering innocent people in the name of 'public safety' on the tube and get away with it, conspiracy theories will be generated.

Yes, but that's just the coppers being over-excited and jumpy during a heightened alert state after a major terrorist attack. As wrong as it is, you could argue 'understandable', but surely no right thinking person is going to use that as a springboard to make the leap to a CT?!

Look up "Terrorstorm" or "Rachel North". The 7/7 kooks are a little quieter than the 9/11 freaks, because emotions are more raw for the more recent event, but they're out there.

I can't... I'm scared of what I might see there.

I'm sorry, could you translate this?
I finally figured out that "tube" = subway or underground, and is a reference to the Brazilian mechanic (?) who was killed. But the "old bill run" is beyond me.
Thanks.

"Old Bill" - slang for 'Police' - mostly used in the South of England; see also Fuzz, Rozzers, Filth, Blue Filth.
