About a week and a half ago I caught the tail end of a piece by Citytv's "New Media Specialist" which covered the forthcoming Loose Change: Final Cut and included a webcam interview with Dylan Avery.

I've been waiting for the report to show up on Citytv's web site before posting about it, and the piece has finally been added to the station's web site as part of the Webnation program's pages.

Go here (http://www.citynews.ca/blogs/webnation.aspx) to watch the piece online. Hit the "Click To Play" link below the image and the show will start. The part with LC:FC and Avery starts shortly before the halfway point (sorry, the interface used to stream the Webnation broadcast doesn't show the actual time).

I figured there might be some interest in hearing more comments straight from the source in regards to what LC:FC is supposedly going to contain.

(FYI: Citytv is a television station/network in Toronto which primarily covers the GTA region. It has sister stations in other cities in Canada, and it also has a 24-hour news channel verison, CP24. News broadcasts and reports are typically shared between Citytv and CP24.)

With CITY's recent ownership change, I wonder if this means that Ted Rogers is a twoofer where Moses wasn't. :D

At the beginning of the segment you can see the massive attendance that the 9/11 twoofer rally had here in Toronto.

Sounds like she's under the impression that Dylan's got a big budget for this flick. Nice to see SLC shown on the video!

Just watching that now. Big budget? That "big budget" wouldn't take care of a day's craft services on an actual fillum. I like also how she doesn't address why there'd need to be repeated 'cuts' of LC. "A fictional project in non-fictional times"? Uh huh! I guess pre-Sept.11th qualifies as fictional time then. Only the first LC "was preaching to the choir"? When exactly did you stop? "It's gonna be a long friggin' film"? It's already a long friggin' waste of time and it's never gonna be a film you putz.

Well, Sh[rule10]tty-TV's been going downhill for a while. I guess I can't be totally surprised by this facile softball interview. They gotta fill airtime somehow, even if it's with a poseur like Avery.

Um.

When has there ever been 'fictional' times that we live in?

Yet again, Dylan puts puts his foot firmly in his mouth. Thank god Hillary is looking at getting socialised dentistry for you lot.

Popcorn for the mind?

Dylan says "all the major things we have caught flak for . . . these are the things we have taken out". "Things like the cell phone calls". Should be pretty damn short then!

PS. At least you can say "fricking" on Canadian TV.
