I have to confess that I can't quite figure out where the loons are going with this. It's a high-tech weapon of some sort, but what sort? My imagination fails me here.

My apologies. I saw 1:58, the upload date in February 2006, and heard the intro about Phil Jayhan, and got the time muddled.

You're right, it's only 2 minutes long. And it is entirely nonsensical. It's just the same old "omg there's a flash as the plane hits the tower" crap that they've been spouting for ages. It is telling that they purport to use the Naudet brothers' footage but deliberately blur it beyond recognition in order to try to argue their lunacy.

This again? The missile theory was one of those associated with this video. Part of the pod theory was also tried with the flash to associate the airliner carrying the missile in the pod, firing it before the plane entered the tower.
They can go ahead and keep wondering, but I suspect these videos resurfacing as unexplained flash are an attempt to draw in more people to the truther movement.

When old crap like this resurfaces I always wonder whether it's actually being "pushed" by one of the hardcore twoofers trying to suck in new blood (just like a dope pusher) OR if it's simply a newbie who learned about Google and has an OMG minute.

At lcf and elsewhere I have seen more than one "teen" get real excited about some footage only to learn later it was debunked or proven tampered with long ago.
