Hyphens are rapidly becoming a thing of the past. Internet usage cited as a cause.

Resign vs. re-sign seems to be a problem among sports fans.

Don't sports fans typically have trouble with any word longer than a letter or two... specially Brit footy fans?

Sorry, XKCD has this disclaimer right on their page.

Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors).

Probably should have mentioned it.

I saw it when I clicked next, for the next comic, and had not noticed their disclamer.

No offence taken but you never know else may click that link.

There is a trend in the book world away from hyphens. In general, people hyphenate more than they need to.

If I see quickly-moving car or the like one more time, my head is going to asplode.
