A Texas Pontiac dealer (http://www.timesrecordnews.com/news/2007/sep/06/car-dealership-ownerstands-behind-the-word/) wants to prove he's a good Christian by including a Bible with every car sold. Derek Williamson knows there's a certain stigma attached to car salesmen.
But he wants his customers to know he's a good, honest Christian man.
He's driving his point home by putting a Bible in every vehicle he sells at his dealership, Premier Pontiac Buick GMC in Seymour.
"A lot of people say, 'Why do you give away a Bible when you sell a car? That don't fit.' But it's just the way we do business," he said.
Williamson puts an "Owner's Manual for Life" in each vehicle that leaves his lot. The book is essentially a copy of the New Testament
ETA: Meant to put this in R&P. If a mod would be so kind as to transfer it there.
