Hi chaps, I've been trying to get on the excellent UK sceptic site www.skepticexpress.co.uk but I'm getting an advert? Anyone know what is happening? It had some superb articles, and a quiet but intelligent forum?

He's selling the domain apparently.
Follow the 'More Details..' under "Buy This Domain" on the left side of the screen.
skepticexpress.co.uk is for sale
Seller's price expectation: 10,000 £
The seller has listed the domain in GBP. The sum of 10,000 GBP is currently equivalent to approximately 20,277 USD.
Please choose your preferred currency.
I guess the guy/girl needs money.

Not so expensive. The hardware requirement of the JREF forum seems to be about $10k a year. That's in the USA, where computer hardware is half the price it is in the UK.
Factor in the real salary cost of the mods (were they not volunteers) and a real annual cost to operate this forum would be in the range of $250,000. For actual UK cost, as opposed to theoretical exchange rate cost, simply swap a pound sign for the dollar sign.
