First, they consult psychics:

Ask psychic to find Madeleine

Published: 02 Oct 2007
DESPERATE Kate and Gerry McCann may call on a TV mystic dubbed The Psychic Barber to help find lost daughter Madeleine.

But now, even worse, a man named "The Locator" had used a "high-tech matter orientation system machine" to track Maddie down to a beach, using just a strand of her hair for DNA.

What are the odds dowsing is coming up next?

I'd love to know how this machine is supposed to work, but the ex-policeman won't tell us.

Yeah, I knew I had read about him on here somewhere in regards to the million dollar challenge, but this is the first time I've heard anout him being connected to the McCann case, and worryingly they seem to be taking him seriously.

I'm probably reading too much into The Sun, though.

Who actually knows but article in yesterday's paper denied McCann family have not approached this person. Maybe he's still looking for publicity.
So far, except for the religion, they have dismissed any offers of help from psychics.

They denied that they have not?

They've certainly denied using the Psychic Barber, and he has confirmed this. It was silly tabloid speculation as usual. They haven't denied they have not :D

Not sure about the other guy though. Assume any claim in The Sun is untrue, as the others have proven to be.

And please, don't call her "Maddie". I'm sure you didn't intend it as such, but its media usage is just a way of asserting public ownership of her and the case in order to keep the whole pathetic circus going. AFAIK the parents never even called her that - it's the "Maddie Express (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daily_Express#.22Maddie.22_Express)" that coined it.
