Did this conversation with Larry King ever happen? If so, why don't I find it on YouTube where everything else like this goes?

The source is World Net Daily, which is almost always wrong about everything. If it had a print addition it'd just be bird cage liner.

I'm not quite ready to trade in my dollars just yet, though.

The interview really happened, although he is really talking about a trade agreement.
KING: E-mail from Mrs. Gonzalez in Elizabeth, New Jersey. "Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?"
FOX: Long term, very long term. What we propose together, President Bush and myself, it's ALCA, which is a trade union for all of the Americas. And everything was running fluently until Hugo Chavez came. He decided to isolate himself. He decided to combat the idea and destroy the idea...
KING: It's going to be like the euro dollar, you mean?
FOX: Well, that would be long, long term. I think the processes to go, first step into is trading agreement. And then further on, a new vision, like we are trying to do with NAFTA.

Yes, but he's speaking from the same codebook where "pull it" means "blow it up." :p

Here is the transcript, since it is wise never to trust Prisonplanet on anything.

Incidently, the words used in quotation marks in the original World Net Daily article, are not found in the transcript.
Speaking on the Larry King show, former Mexican President Vicente Fox confirmed every assertion made by Jerome Corsi in his new book, NY Times bestseller "The Late Great U.S.A: The Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada" (WND Books, ISBNs 0-9790451-4-2, $25.95, July 2007). Not only did Fox admit that he and George W. Bush have "agreed" to create a common currency, the Amero, he contended that a North American Union is "inevitable" That’s something that Jerry Corsi takes issue with while applauding Fox’s openness on national television.

So how is this a "Press Release" on a new currency and form of government?
Next Week Tune in as Alex Jones announces that Government Agents are taking things from his home and replacing them with new things. (AKA the mailman via the mailbox)

Mexico’s invasion of America can and must be stopped, but in order to do so, every citizen must rise up and demand an end to it. "George W. Bush has been bought lock, stock and barrel by the elite and multi-national corporations pushing for a merger with Mexico, but he has utterly no right under the Constitution to push for a merger of the U.S with Mexico or any other country"
Good lord, has anyone alerted the Jews they don't own Bush anymore?? :jaw-dropp

While the U.S. is focused on its southern border, Canada can quietly assault across the American's northern border with its newly superior dollar and buy up everything in sight inside the U.S.

Corsi's just trying to sell books; IIRC he's also looking into running as a presidential candidate in 2008 for one of the lunatic fringe parties.
If Mexico wants to dollarize their economy they can do it on their own.

World Net Daily? I've never heard it referred to as that. I've seen it only as either "World Nut Daily" or "Wing Nut Daily."

I heard Glenn Beck go crazy over this last night.
I used to like Beck as being one of the more reasonable spokesman for a Conservative viewpoint, but he is rapidly going bonkers over the immigration issue. He seems to be buying into the crap NWO conspiracy theories on this issue.
It is sad what has happened to CNN Headline News. And why do they still call it that, since their original purpose..to provide straight Newscasts every half hour..has vanished long ago,and now they have on the likes of Beck and Nancy Grace, a demogogue if ever I saw one.

But I love curling. It is the only sport that at my 45 I can still hold out hope for the Olympics.

Sad but true. I used to be a huge fan, now I can only bring myself to listen to him during Moron Trivia. :(

Hey. I suppose you think you are speaking for me? I bet you voted for MMP for, too!Actually, I did, but not that I thought it had much chance of passing. More of a vote to say that some sort of electoral reform at some point would be a good thing.

It would have helped if the promotional material was understandable. I'll bet that the majority of the people who read it either did not understand it or misunderstood it.
I think I did (understand it) and voted no.
Note. I accept full responsibility for the attemped major derail of this thread.

It's already happening. The casinos, and outlet malls close in Western NY are overflowing with Canadians.
I don't mind. They're leaving their cash here. Alls well that ends well. :)
On a serious note, how is the tourism industry in Canada doing? I'd imagine they're hurting right now with less Americans coming across, and spending less money.

It would have helped if the promotional material was understandable. I'll bet that the majority of the people who read it either did not understand it or misunderstood it.I don't consider myself that much of a news junkie or anything, but I was familiar with the MMP proposal and didn't find it hard to understand. Seemed rather simple really. I don't know, does watching the occasional episode of The Agenda on TVO make that much of a difference?
On a serious note, how is the tourism industry in Canada doing? Not well, at least in terms of Americans coming to visit. SARS, border security, and now a high dollar have all played a role. In 2002, Americans made nearly 41 million trips to Canada; in 2006 that was down to 29 million, a decrease of almost 30%. Here's (http://www.cbc.ca/cp/business/070920/b092091A.html) a CBC online news article about the decline.
Everything was fine until Canada came along!Muhahahaha!!!
And, in a shameless attempt to keep this post somewhat on topic, it would seem the press release mentioned in the OP was bunk.
