Dusty Judy is filing a suit to get her theories investigated. This should be fun to watch.

From the link:
“NIST was hanging out with the wrong crowd,” according to Dr. Wood. “Apparently the people hired to do the work of figuring out how the Twin Towers disappeared convinced NIST to focus on something else. NIST admitted to me in writing that it deliberately did not investigate the actual unraveling of the WTC.” In its letter of July 27, 2007, to Wood NIST acknowledged, “NIST only investigated the factors leading to the initiation of the collapses of the WTC towers, not the collapses themselves.”
Reading comprehension problems are not grounds for a lawsuit. Not much more to be said.

I like this line:
Dr. Wood holds degrees in Civil Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, and Materials Engineering Science. Fetzer added, “She is a former assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University and is arguably the best qualified 9/11 researcher in the world. I know of no one else whose qualifications come close to matching hers.”
Uncle Fester must not know many people (sane ones anyway).

Maybe the Truth movement is a conspriacy to create work for idle lawyers.
But I am sure that this will have as much success as the other Truther lawsuit.

Time only for a quick glance as I have to be in court shortly, but it appears to be very similar to Morgan Reynolds' Qui Tam complaint. In fact, the two of them are identical in some regards. There is no doubt in my mind that both will fail miserably.

Why can't we put Judy in a debate with first responders, structural engineers, and the REAL experts and get this settled once and for all. Stomp it out completely. I'm so tired of hearing the twooferz blather on and on and the only time they debate is to non-experts and people who weren't there on 9/11. I'd like to see them get squished by truth and go away forever... rqiwdpegnewighn0e q8rg0qrwe] 8ghrqwei Oh - sorry, I fell asleep at the keyboard - I was dreaming...

Ignoring, just for a moment that Wood/Fetzer's theories are pathetic:
The False Claims Act prohibits qui tam cases "based upon the public disclosure of allegations" unless the "person bringing the action is an original source of the information." 31 U.S.C. § 3730(e)(4). An "original source," in turn, "means an individual who has direct and independent knowledge of the information on which the allegations are based" and who "voluntarily provided [that] information to the Government before filing." Id.

It's quite distinctive.
Oh, they admitted it to you, did they? And in writing, too? Golly gosh, how did you exact that confession from them, Judy?
You must really have them on the ropes. After all your tireless, fearless investigation, you've finally got them to admit that their report says exactly what their report says that their report says.

The way I read the sections you are referring to, I do not see how they outright preclude Judy Wood's qui tam complaint. Title 31, Section 3730 prohibits such claims only if they are "based upon the public disclosure of allegations or transactions in a criminal, civil, or administrative hearing, in a congressional, administrative, or Government Accounting Office report, hearing, audit, or investigation, or from the news media, unless the action is brought by the Attorney General or the person bringing the action is an original source of the information."
It is not obvious to me that Wood's complaint is "based upon" the "public disclosure of allegations" made in any of the itemized list bolded above. All three of those elements would have to satisfied for the section to bar the claim outright. I haven't looked at the case law yet, mind you, and I am saying this strictly as a matter of statutory interpretation, but at first blush, I do not see how that Title and Section preclude the complaint on its face. It seems to me that the judicial interpretation of "based upon", "public disclosure" and of the bolded items would dictate whether or not the claim is barred, and I suspect that the case law on these points may not be entirely settled. I welcome your further input and thoughts on this, and I will look further into it as well.
Why are they always blaming me...I do not even live in the USA...lol

Yes, I've noticed that, too. Alex Jones does it an awful lot, constantly claiming, "it's admitted", or "they've admitted it", and his loyal sheeple repeat it like a mantra. Oddly, while so many of them cannot grasp the simple concepts of similes or metaphors, they sure do grasp the different connotations of the words "admitted" and the (more accurate) "reported" or "said".
Can't wait to see the legal filings stipulating the new definitions of "Shaving Cream, Alka-Seltzer, Fuzzballs, Fuzzy Bombs, Dirt Balls, Cheeetos, Tree Leaves, Nano-Dust, Donuts, Attack Clouds, Poofing, and Wheatchex"

Well, DU isn't strictly a Twoofer place. In fact the 911 topic is sort of a ghetto created so that the nutjobs would leave the rest of the board alone, and has become the place ALL CTer pap gets moved by moderators. DU has other problems though, in that it is rampant with trolls and bullies and the administrators seem to be uninterested in having civility there.

Its more the well-worn contradiction that troofers claim to be saving the world from some oppressive regime yet the nub of the T&C's to sign up to their board is 'disagree with us, no matter how mad we are, and you will be banned or ushered into a dark corner of the board'. Bless 'em.
And its terribly sweet that they still haven't twigged the fundamental flaw in their recent challenge to Popular Mechanics that they can somehow prove a falling object always follows the path of least resistance.
