think of how intelligent and comforting this is :

An incredible loser is getting paid 6figures to write a book about what a loser he is.

on top of that, his title is the most moronic thing Ive read in a long time. What a f'n loser.

September 10, 2003 -- Ex-New York Times reporter Jayson Blair has agreed to write a memoir about his life and the fabrication scandal that forced him to resign from the Gray Lady and ultimately bought down the paper's top two editors, The Post has learned.
Mainstream New York publishers showed little interest in the former Timesman after his May resignation, but Los Angeles-based New Millennium Press has agreed to publish the book, to be called "Burning Down My Master's House: My Life and the New York Times," sources said.

A contract in the six-figure range could be signed as early as today for a book expected to hit newsstands in spring 2004.

I'd rather read someone else's account about what a loser he is. Blair is not to be trusted in his "reporting" of these events. I'm sure there will be other books about this.

I must be losing my mind. I agree with NTW about something. The best thing that people can do is NOT buy the book.

You know the title sort of implies he did what he did deliberately to bring down the man rather than as a result of laziness and poor ethics.

Also note that the use of "Master" in the title hints at racial victimhood to be contained within.

I'm sorry, could you run that past me again? A loser is getting paid ...? I can see where "incredible" comes in but otherwise you lost me.
