Would you please review "Dark Dungeons (http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0046/0046_01.asp)"?
It's my favorite. I used to pass it out to new players when I ran an AD&D game for over seven years.
Thank you.

Abdul Alhazred unsheaths the mighty Geekbane. It glows bright white.
Ahem.
A classic.
I don't want to start taking requests. There are just too many.
Off the top of my head I'd give it a 5 for craziness on implausible motivation, but there are no explicit supernatural events.
Here's a link to my last one:
There go the Dinosaurs (http://skepticalcommunity.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=16951)
And to the earliest one I can find where I give ratings:
Kidanapped! (http://skepticalcommunity.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=4379)
You can go to SC and do a search on 'Chick' with my user name, if you want to see the lot.

I wouldn't mind at all an hour or two with Ms. Frost in a dungeon if you get my drift.
I think the "hot babe" character's worth a few extra points on the index.

You know it's classic Chick when it ends with a book burning. How come none of the people I played D&D with ever looked like that?

I like the attention to detail. In "Dark Dungeons" Debbie wears a Members Only jacket. Now, that's stylin'

Marcie's suicide after the death of her D&D character is pretty crazy, but not nearly as crazy as the kid who went on a killing spree after finding out that Santa isn't real. Chick set the bar pretty high that time. It's gonna be hard to out crazy that. But if anyone can do it Chick can.

When you get the the part where Lamont changes his name (http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1043/1043_01.asp?wpc=1043_01.asp&wpp=a), pause a second and take a guess what he's changed it too.
I'll give ya one guess, and if you're wrong, you have to jump off a cliff.

Don't witches do witchy things like dance naked around a fire, rather than doing nerdy things like play D&D? :p

Not to take anything away from Abdul, 'cause he did a great job, but the funniest review of "Dark Dungeon" is "Dork Dungeon".

Stuff like that has been an inspiration to me.
There was a site that had a bunch of parodies that had to be taken down because Chick threatened legal action.

I've always been a big believer in killing two birds with one stone. :D

Marcie's suicide after the death of her D&D character is pretty crazy
Unfortunately, he didn't invent it. I vaguely recall hearing about some suicides in a relatively short block of time in the 80s where it was quickly discovered that all of the now-dead teens had played D&D. Since D&D was a new-ish thing then, there was a huge media hype and a big scare that D&D would turn you siucidal or make you worship demons or some such nonsense.
I think the fallout from this is also why they changed "demons", "devils" and "daemons" to "tanar'ri", "baatezu" and "yugoloths" respectively in D&D lore and why any card with "demonic" in it was removed from Magic: The Gathering.

Not "rather than", no.

Maybe so. But he didn't invent most of the crazy that he pushes.

The new "Colored only" tracts are pitiful.
"Soul Story" is responsible for, imo, the most hilarious line of dialogue that I've ever found in a chick tract. Specifically, this (http://www.chick.com/tractimages88704/0069/0069_08.gif) one.
