Nostradamus was a great doctor.

Nostradamus was a quack when it came to predicting the future but for his day he was a great physician. He kept his patients clean and he burned contaminated bedding and clothes. He had a medicine made from rose hips that seemed to help black plague victims. The reason it may have helped is because of the vitamins in rose hips.

Nostradamus also invented a line of cosmetics and some of his cosmetic formulas are used to this very day. He didn't start his predicting until after he failed to save his own wife and children from the plague and its understandable that this horrible experience would cause him to go a bit weird and write his nonsene about the future.

Lets give credit where credit is due.

Nostradamas is on the MSN video section. They are saying how he predicted "Hister aka Hitler" with no mention of how ahead of his time he was as a doctor.
