and does anyone find some Christians to be Hypocritical when it they say PRAY FOR GEORGE W. BUSH but seem to at the same time not give a rat's ass about someone lets say like Penn and Teller or James Randi or Eminem to use few examples.

I wanna hear your comments on this.

I support:

and:

http://www.100megsfree4.com/csministires

http://www.100megsfree4.com/csministries/who.html

and I find it sickening that fellow Christians seem more okay with attacking someone rather than pray for them and I understand why Atheists and other groups see Christians as being Hypocritical and Bigoted in some ways.

I started a Prayer Chain at:

http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98706

for instance because I do care and what makes me so mad at Christians is that they seem more intrested in attacking the Influential but when it comes to those in Influence who fit their agenda, they say PRAY FOR THEM and I am sick of this Hypocritical behavior by Christians.

Also,I started others such as:

http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=97962

for people to pray for others in Influence and this is what I wsih the Christian Community was held responsible on:

I am attacked by so-called Conservative Christian Groups for making the prayer chain

at:

http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=97962

and yet oddly enough, these same groups say we should pray for JUDGE ROY MOORE and GEORGE W. BUSH

Billiefan,

Do you think God has a plan for your life? For everyone? For the World ?

Why do you think he will change it, for you, or for anyone else?

You ever heard the phrase PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.

or:

"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective"
James 5:16

That is just a baseless meaningless expression. Its only influenece is on the ignorant who judge others through religious faith, religious influence means nothing.

What would happen if you took that phrase seriously...
The same that that happens when you refuse mainstream medicine to cure your cancer...

Hey, at least you chose a quote from James, its one of the least objectionable books of the bible, and it even have a few good ideas (although they dont really need to be written in the bible, they are commonsense... go figure)

James 5:16 reads:
"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

But Romans 3:10 reads:
"There is none righteous, no, not one."

So, it looks like you can pray and pray and pray and pray but nothing will happen because there is none that are righteous.

An epiphony: Prayer means nothing, it says so in the bible.

I am not sure if praying for some people and not for others will really stop Cthulhu from devouring everyone.
