Besides, you could just as easily substitute Christians, or Muslims, or 9/11 truthers, or any subset of culture and get the exact same idea. The mere fact that DARPA invented the internet and oh yeah, by the way, academics use the internet does not mean that either fact has ANYTHING to do with the other.

Speaking of huge hits... I frequently visit five internet discussion boards -- this one, and then ones relating to motorcycling, sports, finance/investing, and cats. This one naturally has truthers posting, and the off-topic section of the finance/investing board is a real hotbed of all sorts of conspiracy woo (and it'd be a great source for stundies if it wasn't in Finnish). In the other three, the approaching 9/11 date has before this always brought on at least one 'inside job' post.

This year, there were none. Zero. Nada.

CS answered my post in his false flags thread WAYYYYY too soon and with a legit relevant link to the OP Northwoods paper for him to be a Truther. Though I still was not sure for a few posts as to his stance...
