Thanks for the link, e^n. I figured it was something to that effect. You know, I'm sure people think television editing to be a nice 9-5 white collar job. Oh that it were so. I guess I should really stop goofing-off. :)

So rather than contest a single point brought up in Ryan Mackey's white paper. Or even contest a single point in a post or thread here or there. This half wit "etshrtslr" has to resort to questioning his working and posting hours? Wow talk about desperation. A perfect example of a truth movement death rattle.

Now, now, now....no need to tar all half-wits with the same brush. :D

This from a forum that claims,
We are the Internet's largest and most popular community dedicated to the intelligent discussion and debate of "alternative topics."Obviously, in an "alternative reality."

Well, as the saying goes, nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the paying public (even if they aren't paying for anything)

Speaking as an NWO Govt. shill:
I can't post from work cause I guess we're too super-sekret or something. If I could, I wouldn't feel too guilty given that I worked 10 hour days for nearly two years without any compensation for the overtime.
I wonder how many 10 or 12 hour days Mackey has put in for NASA without compensation? I'd be willing to bet he's sacrificed considerable personal time on TDY's (travelling on Sunday's etc.).
Then again, I'll let him defend himself.

If the answer is yes to any one of the above questions please explain if you did this on your own intuitive and free will or if not, were you directed to by a higher authority in the US government or NASA to do so?
Too bad the answer to all of those are "no." CURSES, FOILED AGAIN! :p

R. Mackey has made a statement regarding this in the Stundies thread.

Yeah somebody brought it up in the OP's link but so far no "wow, was I ever wrong about this one."
I doubt there's any reason to post a popcorn smilie waiting for that to happen.

I like this quote:
Ill grant you this Mr. Mackey. Even if you did not use govt computers to post or write your paper or do it on govt time you sure did play up your position as a NASA (Government) scientist to try and add credibility to your paper.
...as if to imply that something is wrong with flaunting his credentials. Because as we all know, the Truthers never, (http://www.pilotsfor911truth.org/) ever (http://st911.org/) do (http://www.v911t.org/) that. (http://www.ae911truth.org/)

And I should be focusing exclusively on the TV show I'm offlining. But I'm a mean, multi-tasking muttha with 2 different systems on the go (1 Mac, 1 PC just to keep things interesting), 2 keyboards,a wireless mouse, a Wacom tablet and 70" worth of screens hogging my desk.
But sometimes, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. :D

Just another example of recreational fascism, brought to you by the Truth Movement.
I have no idea why that poor imbecile bothers posting at AboveTopSecret anyway. I don't have an account there. I don't read their threads. I have no affiliation with the place at all.
Pretty funny, really. The only things missing from his posts are claims about being able to bench-press 450, or that he's an ex-Navy SEAL. :D

I should also add that it was not my intent to "tout" my education or career path in my whitepaper. Several people had asked me for that information here. "About the Author" sections are commonplace in books, and my document at about 100,000 words probably qualifies as one. I was careful to put that section at the front, away from any of the actual discussion.
If anyone finds an "argument to authority" in my whitepaper, please call me on it. I greatly dislike them.

Not sure if thats the real Gravy ...but....
Why in the world did you start this thread? Ryan Mackey doesn't post here. He gives his email address at the start of the paper in question. If you have further questions for him, contact him directly.
Is there anything you don't understand about this concept? If so, I'll be glad to explain it further to you.Posted by Mark Roberts, on November 6, 2007 at 21:09 GMT

What exactly do you do at NASA? Reading your blurb I really can't tell.:)
PS. They can't even get the concept of salary down correctly either. It's rather quite pathetic.

It was a short blurb. On purpose. Wasn't needed for the paper.
What I do is actually pretty complicated. I'm a PI and team lead for various small technology projects, which means that at various times I write proposals, write work plans, invent stuff, wrangle pure mathematics, hack code, crunch data, integrate software, run tests, and write papers. Most of what I do is in an esoteric field called "Integrated System Health Management," which means technology for stuff to figure out whether or not it's working, how well it's working, when it's going to break, how, and what to do about it, without requiring teardown or speculation from experts or pilots.
Many of my papers are available online. One example is here (http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/20060015097_2006008428.pdf), which describes a project I co-led in Summer 2005, to test new technologies (one of which I invented) on-board a NASA aircraft. This report is designed to be readable by a non-expert.
As always, standard disclaimers apply. I do not represent NASA, all opinions mine alone, this post made in the comfort of my own home on my own equipment, consult physician before beginning any diet program, your mileage may vary, offer void in Belize.

That is an argument to authority for sure. Now everything you say is FALSE.:p

Unfortunately Mackey's work experience does not qualify him for credibility at ATS. In order to qualify, one must have been a past CIA agent who has retired well before the event of 9/11, and simply have a vague opinion that 9/11 might be an inside job.
There's no room for a lowly Proposal writing, work plans writing, stuff inventing, pure mathematical writing code hacking, data crunching, software integrating, test running, paper writing nobody there.
