Anybody heard anything about Kevin Barrett lately?

In case you all forget Kevin Barret was the University Of Wisconsin Madison Professor that initially integrated his truther theories into his "Introduction to Islamic Studies" class. Many state legislators questioned how Islamic studies has to do with a conspiracy theory. Then in May 4th 2007, in a press conference he claimed he was going to Morocco, to become a bounty hunter, in order to find the "alleged" hijackers...

Sorry to yell, but despite my total lack of association with U of W Madison, I still feel obliged to defend them from the trashing of their reputation their unfortunate association with Barrett has brought about. Anyway, he was a temporary instructor covering a class while the regular professor was on sabbatical (or some other project; I don't remember the exact detail...). His teaching position was never permanent; the formal association was for that semester period.

Anyone who's curious can search the archives of Ann Althouse's blog (althouse.blogspot.com) for the details of his association. That's where I first read about him.

Oh, that was priceless. I suspect this is where the rest of the Truth Movement is headed. As soon as audiences figure out their spoiled brat tactics, revolts like this will be common.
