Chillzero offered an excellent suggestion. She advised me to try again and make the point of the thread more precise. I have her permission to mention our discussion to prevent someone from reporting this new thread as spam.

Yesterday, I posted an e-mail exchange between David Griffin and me, commenting that "it speaks for itself." I was being lazy. It speaks for itself only if you are familiar with my dealings with Griffin up to the September 4 e-mail. The people who argued from the start that he would never submit to a serious interview deserve the opportunity to say "I-told-you-so."

Here, I want to contend that in ducking out Griffin clearly reneged on an agreement. More importantly, I want his followers to come to terms with his unwillingness to defend views that he peddles to them for twenty bucks a book.

Griffin isn't a member here, is he? Have you (or others) invited him? If so, did he give any reason in declining? Is it possible he has posted under an assumed name?

I posted the e-mail exchange, extending from September 4 to November 9, yesterday in the thread "The Extremely Predictable David Griffin," which was moved to AAH.

After his cordial reply in early September and during his loud two-month silence, he determined that I was "dishonest." He is, of course, unwilling to provide an example of my "dishonesty."
