Anyone know how to get Firefox to show Japanese characters? Right now they just show up as ????????.

view->character encoding->either auto or the known Japanese encoding
maybe?

Chances are you don't have Japanese language support for your computer. Go to Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options, click the Languages tab, and check the box that says "Install files for East Asian languages".

Well, now it asks me for the Windows DVD. I don't have it here. So I guess that stops me right there, doesn't it?

Yeah, you need to find that in order for it to work.
