There is a new edition of the New Testament aimed at teenage girls. See review here (http://www.beliefnet.com/story/131/story_13171_1.html)

I have read a few articles about it now but have not actually seen it. I am saddened by some of the messages like "girls don't phone boys" and wonder if a teen would actually fall for this. My guess is that a fairly sheltered teen who was raised in a conservative Christian home may actually be influenced by this. I would also guess that any other more secular girl would find this either offensive or funny.

All 27 books of the New Testament run side by side with polls like "Are you Dating a Godly Guy?"

from an article at slate.com

Whaley [the person behind Revolve] on why girls shouldn't call boys: "There's no indication from Scripture that Mary Magdalene ever picked up the phone and called Christ." …

Now that would have been miraculous ;)
