View Full Version : kicked by a ghost mum?

I lost my mum recently and will admit to being in a very weired state. However, you'll laugh at this. I did.

I was kneeling down and with my head in the cabinet getting out a bowl I needed, which was right at the back. When I felt a kick to my bottom. Not a mean kick more like a playful shove kick. Nobody was in the room except me and all the doors were shut.

Rationally and the skeptic in me thought muscle tremor. Having suffered with muscle spasms and tremors before, this was nothing like it. This felt like a honest play kick, one I would do if I saw somebody bent into a cabinet like I was. A light print was left on my skin. This occurred for me a week ago.

Hoardette has also been attacked by a jumper, worn by my mother a day before she passed on. She woke to find the jumper hugging her, not wrapped around but physically hugging her. This occurred the morning my mother died.

Just what is this, our grief or is our minds fabricating something to soothe us. Kicking me up the bottom is not soothing but it did at least make me laugh.

It's silly but I feel a presence and find I often grin or tilt my head like I used to to listen to my mum.
