sure, lots of astronauts see UFOs, its simply "Unidentified Flying Object" doesnt imply aliens or anything crazy, simply something you see, and dont know what it is
(this is a bit of a pet peeve of mine, people assuming UFO = aliens = area 51 = roswell = what have you.....not that you are necessarily stating this, but i just want to set the record straight )

Labelling an alien space craft 'unidentified' just perpetuates the white man's colonial euro-centric attitudes.
Pretending that the aliens don't know perfectly well who they are may allow white men to 'boldly go where no one has gone before' but it just continues the myth of the 'other'. |
