That seems to be a basic tenet of the truther faith, actually. People in stressful circumstances always perceive events correctly, always recollect events accurately, and are capable of instantly carrying out complex engineering assessments to determine the causes of an unprecedented event. Unless, of course, those snap decisions and recollections disagree with the conspiracy theory, in which case they cannot possibly even be a lucky guess, and must therefore be the result of actors reading from a carefully prepared script. The idea that there can be any level of randomness and error in any event is automatically excluded from their thinking.

I don't know why I post here anymore. The moronic ideas that some Truthers try to pass off as thinking...
Haven't we been through this one before? Now of course you can believe whatever you want, but sometimes things you believe are delusions - perhaps hallucinations. Remember this thread? The one where I pointed out that no one attends Truther events. http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=154625 And there are millions and we are growing everyday. 911 Truth is the most divisive issue in the USA. It is splitting the nation. The USA is on the point of armed insurrection over 911 Truth blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... Once again, how old are you? |

You need to be more specific: mentally or physically? But seriously, my advice to you is to put bill smith on Ignore. He's quite possibly an "intentional idiot". Whether it's because he's simply trolling or because he's managed to delude himself, the result is the same. Engaging these types is pointless. Another option is that he may be quite ill. Engaging these people is not just pointless, but less than honorable, in my opinion. The mentally ill don't require the continued stimulation of their illness; they require medical help. |

Are you kidding me? You're talking about the NWO. They managed to fry two skyscrapers with nano-ants and a giant space laser hovering over the Horn of Africa (or something), you really think they can't get a live feed to an updated airline manifest? Please. Their year one recruits do that stuff in their sleep.

Seconded. To me bs comes across as an individual who is here to argue for the sake of arguing. "Arguing" meaning, "take issue with anything your opponents says." A certain Monty Python sketch comes to mind.
In my view there is little point in debating bs. His pr value for the TM is naught. There is nothing to be learned from countering his recycled nonsense. The only justifiable reason for not having him on ignore is being able to view his avatar. ![]() I put him on ignore some time ago; it was like switching off a diesel engine in the living room. Recommended. Just save his avatar. |

No, no, it was nano-termites, which are great because they are not only explosive, but they can be trained to go to the exact locations where they will be needed, and they are hard to spot with video cameras, thereby eliminating the need for lots of manpower and getting past security systems in order to set up a 110 acre building for demolition...
