I'm not a "lefty" and I don't consider anyone a bigot simply for disagreeing with me, but when I see people express the view that Muslims as a whole are responsible for the September 11 attacks it occurs to me that they might be ignorant and bigoted.

If people were protesting the construction of a Catholic church because of something that some fringe group of Catholic whack-jobs had done I would also come out in support of the church for the same constitutional reasons.
