A Salafist to become the next president of Egypt?

At least that's the impression I get from this article. Most analysts and diplomats predicted the Muslim Brotherhood would be the dominating force, rather than the Salafist or the more secular Egyptians.

The Salafists seem intent on destroying the Egyptian economy, given that the tourism industry would take a blow from their measures. The legal age of marriage will be lowered as well.
