N. Korea May Be Reducing Reverence for Leader

N. Korea May Be Reducing Reverence for Leader

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...2004Nov18.html

If true, a very sad day for Stalinist idol-worshiping propoganda lovers everywhere...fortunately:

"It's false information," the North Korean diplomat was quoted as saying. "You cannot remove the sun from the sky."

[Homer] I LOVE the leader!! [/Homer]

- I'll believe this when I see it. Besides, last time I was in North Korea, they said nasty words to me (my KATUSA translated later).

To hijack this thread, isn't that some gutless journalistic phrasing? He "was quoted"? You mean you are not quoting him? You expect us to take the word of some unknown quoter? Does the Post then look blameless if it is later discovered that the person never, in fact, said that? I hate that!
