No, zombies, as a whole do not feed on brains. Russo Zombies feed on brains, and if that is what is coming after us, then we are pretty much just ******. No head shot kills, individual limbs able to attack after severing, even burning just creates a cloud that transforms others into zombies, the best that they came up with in 5 or so sequels, was a massive bolt action esque gun that fired a combination of electricity and chemicals that managed to stop them for a few minutes.

The only way to take one out is to completely burn it, and filter the smoke, ( or have an explosion with enough energy to leave none of the chemical remaining, like an atom bomb.) which is okay for a dozen or so, assuming you get the gents armed with the stupidly unergonomic guns there in time, but for an actual invasion? Not so much.

Imagine the last thing you see is some dark creature shattering through your car window, the next thing you know, you are pulling yourself out of a ditch, and see your own organs laying in a pile on the ground. You try to scream out, and all your battered corpse can manage is a dull moan, you shamble from the ditch, in constant pain from the feeling of your own decay.....

And then see your **** head friend sitting comfortably in a tree looking slightly pale, and conversing with a victorian era looking gent about the sheer power that comes with being a vampire.

In all seriousness though, these people that believe they are living in the supernatural universe, what the hell is keeping them from going full Ash Williams, mortgaging the house and making creature killing a career? I have always wondered this, i mean reality keeps me from doing it, but hell, one of the things that made me start thinking about skepticisim was this very fact. ( i was in a similar frame of mind to her.) Either A) the paranormal exists, and one of the only true beneficial jobs to humanity is monster hunter. or B) It is all ****, and that explains why there are no monster hunters ( nor events that would indicate there was a monster battle. Think of the end of any of the feast movies.).

According to Supernatural, nothing except the high risk of horrible death, having to spend your entire life on the road, having to hustle people in pool halls and commit credit-card fraud to survive, being hunted by the police and/or mental health authourities, etc. It's just barrels o' fun.
