Video purports to show mythical giant Icelandic Worm
Video seems to show the mythical Lagarfljótsormur, an giant worm that has appeared in Icelandic Folklore since at least 1345.

I can't put my finger on why exactly but I'm leaning toward something organic towing something inorganic; a fish dragging a bit of fishing net or other debris or something along those lines.

Jadey (in RvB game thread): I just want to take a moment to commend Arth on his role as Parasitic Alien Tumor. I think he really connected with the character and there were times when I forgot that he was just acting. That's the kind of talent that you can't teach. |

I can't tell much from the video but it kind of looks like net/plastic/something snagged on something underneath the water and the water moving around it. It doesn't really look like it's swimming in any direction or moving forward etc.
ETA: The video appears to have been on YouTube since February. Don't know why it's in the news now. |
