--of the older people. I've noticed a lot of people banking on the youth to solve our problems (with "progressive" solutions). We just need to wait on the dinosaurs to die off, and we'll have the run of things.

However, isn't it also true that young people have been more "progressive" historically, and even across countries? Might many of these people drift towards conservatism in the pattern that is "common knowledge"?

(I know I read studies on those topics, but finding them is the problem >< .)

The most vicious enforcement of marijuana laws has been by the past three toker presidents.
