Anyone want to meet at Epcot on August 24?

A group of mostly forum members will be meeting in front of the Mexican Pyramid at 2 pm on August 24.

We will be doing a tour of the following:

n the afternoon, we’ll gather at a centrally located area and start a walking tour around the entire park to talk about its interesting history.
Learn about some of the following:

Disney’s original vision
Talking water fountains
Where some of the parks food comes from
How a bucket was needed for the park to run
Why Epcot used to be EPCOT
Which well-known SciFi character was supposedly living here
How you can SCUBA dive in an attraction
Several of world records set here
Lost Rides

inside the park at 2:00 pm in front of the Mexico pyramid. There is NO CHARGE for the tour, but you are responsible for your own park tickets and expenses.

We will meet for dinner after, at one of the park restaurants that requires reservations. If you are going to attend, just post in this thread.

If you want to be included on the dinner reservation, please indicate NO LATER THAN AUGUST 1 - the reservations fill up far in advance in the summer.

Hey, I'll see you there!

I was originally planning on joining all of you. (I assume this is part of the SkepTours thing) But, unfortunately, it conflicts with a higher-priority, family-related event I have been forced to attend.

I will, however, be there for the NASA tour on August 19th. And, I will visit some of the newer attractions in Disney and Universal on the 17th and 18th. (I was last there a little over 5 years ago.)

Anyone want to join me in the Disney and/or Universal parks on August 17th and/or 18th?

Ditto. If this Triangle Tour was a week earlier (as in this week), I would be able to do the whole thing: All three "Points".

But, at least I get to join the Kennedy Space Center part of it!

And, I am still planning to hit the parks for a couple days beforehand.
