I remembered that quote years later when my brother-in-law was retiring from the Navy. At his retirement ceremony, his commanding officer gave a speech where he said, "He was always impeccably dressed."

It's indicative of a little word game that deniers and neo-nazis play. Do we think it's a coincidence that four out of five deniers on here raise issues about "name calling"? It's too bad that Bright^TM has been taken by chicken-poop agnostics, because that's the sort of warm and fuzzy moniker they're looking for. Mondial has probably achieved his purpose. He's got a lovely thread in the respected JREF Forums, and is the second hit if you Google "Did Hitler Really Say That?" Is it a coincidence that any variation on that Google search brings up two Wikiepedia articles and forty denialist sites? I believe this is a concerted effort, just as "don't call me a Holocaust denier" and "where did I ever say I hate Jews" is also a repeated and concerted effort. They are nazi cowards and are not content with their manifesto only drawing in fellow haters. They want to try to suck in the "neutral" public, a larger and larger population of the young, e.g. those who are too young and too poorly read to have actually learned about those decades.

So Mondial's done good. He probably goes back to NazisAreUs.com and gets little brownie points for this. We're in a different world, now. No one's going to read all those thousand page books. They want sound bytes and snappy short answers, preferably backed by some music on YouTube. The quickie results they can seed the internet with, the more dupes they take in. Maybe not hard core members, but at least fools who'll honestly answer polls and such with "uh, I don't know".... According to the nazis, Hitler just got a lot of bad press because the Jews control the media and the history books and all the photographers cameras and eyewitness accounts. They're trying to correct that, one Google byte at a time.

Depends on their purpose, how they were carried out and what occurred due to the assumptions at the base of them. The American intended program, not at all good, the Nazi program total evil. Hope this helps.

I believe this is a concerted effort, just as "don't call me a Holocaust denier" and "where did I ever say I hate Jews" is also a repeated and concerted effort. They are nazi cowards and are not content with their manifesto only drawing in fellow haters. They want to try to suck in the "neutral" public, a larger and larger population of the young, e.g. those who are too young and too poorly read to have actually learned about those decades. So Mondial's done good. He probably goes back to NazisAreUs.com and gets little brownie points for this. We're in a different world, now. No one's going to read all those thousand page books. They want sound bytes and snappy short answers, preferably backed by some music on YouTube. The quickie results they can seed the internet with, the more dupes they take in. Maybe not hard core members, but at least fools who'll honestly answer polls and such with "uh, I don't know".... According to the nazis, Hitler just got a lot of bad press because the Jews control the media and the history books and all the photographers cameras and eyewitness accounts. They're trying to correct that, one Google byte at a time.
