Yes the 23rd. Interesting article on the truth behind some myths about Turing on the BBC. According to this Turing drank cyanide and left an apple by his bedside as a grim joke.

For some reason, Google doesn't work for me today. It displays an image for Turing's birthday but nothing works.

Another BBC article proposes that his death may have been misadventure and that the coroner may have made unwarranted assumptions.

If you enjoyed Google's game, consider trying Lightbot and its sequel.

I've actually recommended it younger students starting to take an interest in programming as a good introduction to loops and functions.
