Imagine a circle, with a target in the middle. This circle has 6 points around its border. The target in the middle is always facing the top, or northern point. I myself, am located at this northern point. I jump from that point, going through the circle, and just as I land on another point, the target turns to face me. Though when I am going through the middle of the circle, the target stays facing north. Random jump to random jump, I watch the target face me. As I jump back to the northern point, nothing happened as the target was already there. Also noticing when I run around the border of the circle and reach a point, the target does not face me. Only when jumping through this circle and landing on a point does the target move.
So now imagine this circle, with it's 6 points. And now imagine the trail of the path I took by jumping from point to point in this circle. What exactly does this image resemble? If you haven't guessed, coincidentally it's a hexagram, the symbol of satan. Is it also a coincidence that I happen to influence and deceive people? Powers of satan. The target in the middle of this hexagram would be Lucifer, following my every move. Is it possible that I am the upcoming Antichrist? I'm not saying anything here, but (ending statement that sounds convincing). Disclaimer: Above was only because I found that thought process to be quite funny but contains instances of faulty logic. Anyway, I think I know why I was feeling so uncomfortable from this thread. I feel like i'm trying to prove to a public that this is happening to me, when the intentions of making this thread were for people that were intrigued to know more about this. Obviously people are going to question my validity, but I'm just not coming into this thread saying, "hey everybody, this is what I can do and you're wrong" Just wanted to get that across. @dlorde I feel my friends respect me and I can guarantee they do not feel that way about me. I theorized it was savant syndrome because I have some sort of mood disorder or slight psychotic symptoms or something. When i'm off my meds for a little over a week and there on, I kind of start to lose it. And in my opinion the main point of that wiki quote was towards the end stating, "far in excess of what would be considered normal" Sorry but it seems to me like you were asking a couple things with the last 3 lines. Do you want to know similarities between events that happen, or why I consider it may be "profound" _ And these other skeptic tests offer way too little amount of money for the distance I would have to travel to get there, so unfortunately it wouldn't be worth it >.< |

As you know, the sun is not really in the same position in the sky everyday, nor does it take the same amount of time to go across the sky. And of course it is the earth that is turning. My point is not that your metaphor is scientifically imperfect, but that our subjective minds can mis-interpret reality. I suggest that is the most likely explanation for your perceived ability.

roryboryalice,
I have no idea what your last message means, but I'm concerned and hope you are OK. As to the various paranormal challenges, where do you live? I don't mean address, but just city and state or country. There might be something closer to you than you realize. Ward |

No, it's not a coincidence.
You imagined a pentagram, which is a known Satanic symbol (also used by early Christians, Mormons, Bahá'í's, wiccans and other religious organizations). That you 'happen to influence and deceive people' is also evidence of Satanic influence. This is not a coincidence. However, it is a proven fact that Satan does not exist. Satan is a product of human imagination, just as your pentagram was a product of your imagination. Since Satan does not exist, neither can Satanic influence. Therefore, the inescapable conclusion is that any Satanic ability to influence and deceive people is also imaginary. Satanic influence is imaginary. Your influence is imaginary. That is no coincidence. Both are products of human imagination.

This thread is making you uncomfortable because it is forcing you to reexamine your beliefs. We are not inside your head, so we cannot share your feeling of being able to influence and deceive people. You have presented no physical evidence that this extraordinary ability could exist. We only have your assertions, which are unconvincing. You should look at your claims from an outsider's perspective. If you cannot convince us that your ability is real, perhaps it isn't!

I suggest you talk to a mental health practitioner. Seriously.

Really? Try claiming that 'the devil made me do it' and see how far you get.
