It's too long! I could die while watching that.

Well, it's probably good for YOU people, but New Yorkers would not benefit from something so tasteful and slow.

And, I guess they will never have to worry about watching it or not, so good on ya, mate.

I was going to post that. I'm surprised it took me so long to get the cat joke in that video.

Clever as it maybe, the video is essentially saying "wake-up you morons".
Three people died at one crossing because the driver deliberately drove on to the tracks. He knew that every day, at that time, the train stopped at the station, so he was safe. However, on the last time he tried that trick, the train had been changed to an express, because of earlier delays. He was literally sitting on the middle of the crossing in the path of a train.

My wife used to work for Japan Rail (I wish she still did, in terms of job-for-life and pensions etc...) but unfortunately the railways see a huge number of suicides every year. One of her co-worker's had to pick an eyeball out of the mesh in front of the trains once.

I think that's pretty good:

Keeping a pet Gaboon Viper
Being insulting to a balloon sniper
Dumb ways to die...

Suicide by train happens often here, but its never publicised lest it give disturbed people ideas. I was on a train when somebody jumped in front of it. You know it happens when trains are delayed on alpine for "operational reasons" rather than breakdowns or lack of staff.

The disgraced president of the local commuter rail line killed himself by standing in front of one of their trains a couple years back.

I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure the singer is Angie Hart.

That's what I initially thought, and it does sound a lot like her. However:'
