You know, some people pay good money for those beatings! And you get them for free, and still have the gall to complain!
I mean, you could just be killed out of hand! Regular beatings are an absolute mercy, I tell you! Ungrateful sla...er...servants! |

Damn, and I was *trying* to be good.
Oh well. Lots of meetings and hotel room time, I've been collecting. Feel free to use my albums. General smileys. Text smileys. Optimised for logical fallacies. Generated with Smiley Generator. An actual comment by a Domme who didn't intend the pun. Wow, this forum is good, |

Archaeology tells us that the Iron Age began ca. 1100 BCE. According to a literal interpretation of the Bible, the flood would have occurred at least about 4000 BCE. Presumably, Noah and his sons carried with them the knowledge of the civilized arts extant at their time, from just before the flood. This would have included, among other things: domestication of plants and animals, pottery, weaving, the wheel and metallurgy. As to the last of these, according to the Bible this would have included iron working as well as the smelting of bronze (Gen. 4:22):
Zillah bore Tubal-cain; he was the forger of all instruments of bronze and iron. So, my question for DOC, edge and any others who accept this as the literal truth, is this: If human beings living before the flood knew how to make tools and weapons out of iron, and if the flood occurred around 4000 BCE, why weren't any of the descendants of Noah using iron before ca. 1100? |
