The correspondent and I have emailed back and forth three or four times now.

In his most recent email he noted that he was "on to" Browne from the first time he had seen her on the Montel Williams Show, many years ago.

That sparked this reply from me:

Okay, now this is odd:

A couple of hours after making that previous post I left our apartment on my daily trek to our mailbox (about 100 yards away in our apartment complex).

As I was making my way in my chair out to the sidewalk in front of our apartment, I saw some movement behind a bush at the end of our entryway.

As I passed the bush I looked to see what the movement had been, and there stood a midget, staring at me.

Seriously - a midget! I had not seen him before and,after our discussion here, it was just...odd.

I briefly considered asking him to try to kick me in the nuts, but decided it would take too long to explain why, so we just exchanged "good mornings". I asked him if I could help him and he said that he was just waiting for me to clear the entryway so that he could use the stairs there.

Hmmm....

I get the two confused, but, as I understand it, midgets are built in the same proportions as tall people, just smaller, whereas dwarves are much stockier, with very short legs.

If I have that right, this man was a midget. He was slender and looked very athletic (another reason I did not issue the Nut-Kicking Challenge).
