As it was time for an upgrade, I read a bunch about various phones, though I was interested in the S3 already. The reviews comparing the One X to the S3 seemed a little weird. It seems to me that at least one of the reviewers I read was biased in favor of the One X. They had a fairly in-depth comparison between the cameras, and absolutely everything in there clearly showed the S3 to have the better camera, but they claimed the One X won.
![]() Even if the One X's camera had been better, the removable battery, and the SD slot really hammers it home - the S3 was the better choice for me. I don't get that bit about the S3 feeling cheap. I think it feels great! BTW, does anyone know if the NFC battery and charger for the S3 is available anywhere? I haven't seen one yet, and I'd love to stop having to fiddle with the plug. I sure do love my fancy tech.

The HTC One X seems also to get really warm during load. One of the latest updates seems to have solved this at least to some degree, but the friends who have them still report it gets warmer than usual for a mobile device.

Just went and got a silicone case for my S3. I highly recommend it. I'm having no more problem with the volume switch getting pressed by accident, it provides excellent grip, and protects the plastic back from scratches. Looks good, too.
![]() I'm looking forward to getting a 64GB SD card for it. My budget doesn't allow for it just yet, so I got a 16GB card to hold me over. Once I get the 64, I'll probably stick the 16 in my Nook. Like I'm likely to completely fill the 4GB card that's in there now. Heh. |
