Program to manage bounce notification emails
I manage an opt-in newsletter which is emailed weekly, and I'm looking for a way to manage the bounces we get each week.
We send out about 15,000 emails and get 100 or so bounces per week. I'm looking for a program that will go through the bounce notification emails and at least pull out the email addresses so I deal with them manually, and ideally one that would generate an "unsubscribe" email to my list server. I've looked around and there are some programs available. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with them and could recommend something. I have access to the machine the list server runs on, and so I can use a program that reads the files directly from the folder where the bounce notifications emails are stored, or one that uses POP or IMAP access to do everything. The list server runs on a Windows Server 2000 machine. Any recommendations? |
