Troy puts out another...interesting video

I rather like it actually. He captures Alex Jones quite well.

I wish Frank Caliente (sp?) would do an impersonation of Jones. Unfortunately like most people in the world, I am sure he has no idea who Jones is.

I think Jim Belushi should seriously consider playing Jones in a comedy biopic. Gotta be better than "Life with Jim" or whatever that show is called.

Troy does seem like he has too much time on his hands sometimes, and maybe a bit much of an obsession with mocking loonies, but he does a fair job capturing the essence of Alex Jones. I wonder how many takes it took to make that video without cracking up laughing.

Where in my post did I indicate that I like Troy? I said that the video was funny and I liked the impression. Thats it.

Instead of reading my post like a normal person, you took my post out of context and used it to generalize the entire JREF forum population. Now why is it that twoofers always do that sort of thing?

...oh and by the way this is post #911. Coincidence? I think not.

It's a parody. Granted, Troy tries a bit too hard sometimes, but he's about as straight (drug free) as they come. I do worry about his enthusiasm at smacking down and making fun of the loonies sometimes...

Although it's intended as parody, that's really what Alex Jones is like.

Ah, memories of typing things when I was 12.

Dude, not too many of us here are very fond of Troy to put it lightly. It's interesting to see your logic though. You probably used the same reasoning to go from one JREF member saying "I rather like it actually" to concluding "Shows exactly where the JREF crowd is at, LOL!!", as you used when researching 9/11.

Troy has definitely ticked me off in the past. But he's got a far better sense of humor than I thought he did and that makes up for a lot. I spend a ridiculous amount of time looking at nutty videos and listening to nutbar radio shows. He caught the Alex Jones' thing perfectly.

You only hate it because it makes it plain for any normal person viewing that "9-11 Mysteries" is a lie and a massive FAILfilm on every level.

I actually watched this now, and I must agree with others that he does do a very good Alex Jones impression. Four 6-8 minute clips of him doing it makes me wonder about his sanity, though.

I agree...Troy goes over the edge sometimes...I don't watch nearly as much of AJ, I'm sure, (I can only handle a few minutes of his lunacy at a time) but with a little voice work, and maybe a bit of help from the "costume department", he has Alex Jones down pat....and that's what makes it soooo funny.

Question from someone who doesn't bother with Alex Jones:

Does he really whine about his personal life like that, and about the "sacrifices" he has made, or was Troy exaggerating for effect?

Actually, I made a rebuttal to 9/11 Mysteries, couldn't think of a name for it and went with the familiar "Screw" prefix that had accompanied several other 9/11 debunkings.

I fail to see your point anyway. What does that have to do with my post?

Query seconded.

Does Alex Jones say he only sleeps 3 hours a night, because that actually rings true.

That part is definitely real. Jones is a classic manic-depressive (I guess bipolar is the new PC term), so he'll intersperse his whining with upbeat talk about how much he's been blessed.

You used the word "screw" and you weren't peer reviewed. That means that everyone on JREF is a contemptible hypocrite and the Pentagon was hit by a missile. Or something.

That's fine. I'll be left behind when everyone starts getting cyborg implants to jack into the SSS (Supermassive Stellar Server) and travelling to Andromeda for the weekend. The SSS will of course still be 90% porn, but it'll be weirder than anything you can find on the WWW nowadays.

ASIO told me that if I don't make cynically make fun of at least five people everyday, they can revoke my citizenship and deport me to Nauru. I'm just making quota, honest!
