If white supremacism makes people happy, is it *useful*?

Some white people think they are superior to all other races, and that whites should lord over all others and perhaps even destroy them all to create an entirely white population. If being a white supremacist makes a white person happy, does that make white supremacism *useful*? I ask this because it's pretty much the same argument being offered in another thread about religion's usefulness.

What if only one of my parents is white? Can I lord over myself?

(Yes, I understand the point of this thread. I just wanted to have a little fun with it.)

That's actually a good question, I think. The "it's okay if it makes people feel good" argument is a pretty lame one when seen that way. You can really apply it to anything, can't you?

"Making people feel good" isn't even a good measure of whether or not something is positive, let alone if it is true or not. It is the sort of argument that will convince a moron or a small child, but otherwise only works on people who already believe.

If vague questions that mean nothing are useful in trying to prop up a woo view that I want to be true, should I post them here?

Or should I start a new thread?

The validity of the heroin oxycontin* argument is somewhat questionable.

*oops - you specified white people
