All Non-essential Staff Advised to Stay Home!
US asks non-essential diplomatic staff to leave
By Michel Cousins, Arab News Staff JEDDAH, 14 February 2003 — The US State Department yesterday told non-essential staff at the US Embassy in Riyadh and the American consulates in Jeddah and Dhahran that they could return home if they feel they want to. http://www.arabnews.com/Article.asp?ID=22755 ........................ Just an opportunity to recount a (I thought) funny cartoon (Arlo and Janis): "Honey, they're asking all non-essential staff to stay home." "Why, is there an emergency?" "No, they're just asking non-essential staff to stay home." .................. Hmmmmm, maybe a good idea? |
