[Ed] People who walk on all 4 limbs

i just saw a show at Disc channel about a family in Turkey who walk on their feet and hands like animals.
Scientists cannot explain why yet. Extraordinary thing.

Edited by Darat:  This appears to be about this story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4782492.stm

Was that the family with inherited inner ear problems, who could not balance upright? (or is that not enough of a scientificic explanation for you?)

Saw that show too. The father explained it. It is Allah's will. Who needs science?

I saw that. My first thought was that someone here might mistake them for a goat.

Couple of points - this was a story here some time back.

They don't walk like gorillas (or Neanderthals) as they put their palms down rather than their knuckles.

Our story pointed out that the entire family is intellectually disabled and that they'd learned the behaviour from other family members.

(The word you need is "limbs". "Members" has a slightly different connotation.)
