Webpage display

Help. All the font on this site is big and bold. I did not change it, it happened when I was scrolling yesterday. It's not like that on every website. I am on Windows XP and AOL. Help?

Casual guess from what I can infer:

The webpage author probably updated his style sheets to make the text look like that, that would explain why it doesnt appear like that on every website. I dont think its related to a problem with AOL or your browser.

My guess is you leaned on the Ctrl key while you were using the scroll wheel.

Me neither. I don't get surprised very often, but that bug, er, feature surprised me.

This happened to me over the summer as well... I couldn't get out of it until I toggled the full screen mode on and off.

It's worth a try.... press F11 twice.

If you are using MS Internet explorer, go under the -view- menu at the top, and choose -text size-.

This will let you adjust the text. Some java applets play with this setting without your permission, and forget to reset it when you quit.

(Um ... Definately NOT Whomp accidently posting under his wifes name)

WooHoo! But you didn't tell me how to reverse it. I hit ctrl and scrolled backwards! Yeah baby! Thanks to everyone for their advice!

This was a new one on me!

My husband showed me and then went on to give me a refresher course on mouse gestures. Cool beans.
