So ... he only made Clinton's top hundred.

Does anyone know how many ministers of religion there are in the US?

Can I count the ones that are addicted to meth and have had gay sex scandals?

I actually would be interested to see the list of names of people who make it to these "prayer dinners." I'm sure its probably filled with Sharptons, Falwells, Wrights, Robertsons, Haggards, Grahams, etc. Just a parade of lunatics...

Let's see here. Meeting a guy once and shaking his hand versus a 20 year close association. Yup, that surely is comparable???

no one is making a direct comparison here...you know that, so stop strawmaning.

The post was to make a point, that the preacher, while he has said some nasty, hurtful things, is not to be treated as a Leper, and is to be admired and appreciated for the good things he has done...and therefore neither should Obama.

Sure np. Just don't make him president.

In the newest story, after Obama called out his grandma as a racist, his response to questioning about it was "typical white person". Of course that is out of context, and context only matters when Obama says something.

That whole mentor/student relationship a pastor has with his flock continues to be deliberately ignored.

This thread totally invites a series of pictures with presidents shaking hands with lowlifes from around the world and comparing them with the people that follow shown lowlifes.

The post was to make a point

Then in future, make the point in the first post, instead of later saying there was no point. Why was this posted then?

The fact that Obama said that Wright was completely wrong suggests that possibly he wasn't a very good student.

Wrong, and strangely petulant.

He said his Grandmother made statements that made him cringe. Racist comments. Thats how you say someone is racist without calling them racist.

I'll remember that the next time someone is fired and run out of town for an out of context racist comment.

Yet has an underlying truth to it.

I was referring to the point of the OP, which I feel I got.
