Any Quality Tri-Fold Wallets?

You know what I'm asking. Either post or pm, please. Just got a bi-fold I'm a bid disappointed in and am tempted to return as it was advertised as a functional wallet when it is more a functional credit card holder.

I'm more a trifold guy anyway.

ETA: Minor sleights are okay

Tri-fold is the only way to go. Mine is an "Oak Creek" that I've had for nearly 10 years. Its held up amazingly well and cost less than $10 when I bought it. Try ebay - many wallets there.

Oh ****, are we really having a thread about wallets? Slow woo day, indeed!

Thanks, mad, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for. The magicians reading this will understand. Whether or not they answer, who knows...

I figured it was something outside of my experience, but the thread title spoke to the extremely mundane so I went with it. Hell, we have an active thread about a lawnmower, why not a wallet?

Short answer- I use a tri-fold for normal use. I've never seen a bi-fold I really like or a tri-fold that I'd even use for what you want.

But I've grown to like a Mullica over the years- I just put a checkbook in the 2nd one so I have a reason for the larger wallet no matter how I'm dressed. I bought my first one for the magic-retail price. I've had to replace it twice in the last 20 years and I can usually find the same thing at JC Penny's.

Yeah, I've got a Mullica and I like it, but my style of dress doesn't allow me to present it as an everyday wallet.

Ah, well. Worth asking. Thanks.

I know someone who has just bought what sounds to be similar but using shoe or battery compartment of mobile phone. I will try to get him to perform and get the name of the tricks if possible.

Greetings,
Rolf makes a nice tri-fold wallet. It has a pull out ID compartment. A little thinking and you can do a card to wallet, billet to wallet routine. Cost: about 15.00. When you see it you'll know what I'm talking about.

Thanks, magiclaffs. A quick Google found the Shiloh tri-fold. Looks interesting.
