Morocco Mattress Factory Fire

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,352741,00.html

55 Killed in Morocco Factory Fire

Quick Debunkers jump on it! Throw it on the pile with your highway overpasses and third world toy factories.

I mean what else have you got?

You're welcome. Don't mention it.

Hmm, I wonder why they didn't mention any huge dust clouds, or bone fragments scattered all over the place? Maybe they'll post another story later on with pictures.. I'd like to see how many mattresses were ejected during the collapse and lodged into nearby buildings.

Do you find the deaths of 55 people in a fire somehow amusing?

Please enlighten us all as to how you find it so humorous.

Or maybe you could save your disrespectful wise cracks for other forums.

No, do you find the deaths of 3,000 people to be amusing? Because according to what you believe about 9/11, none of what I mentioned above should be humorous.

No I do not find the deaths of anybody amusing, did I say i did?

What do I believe about 911? Please enlighten me. Have I stated what I believe? Can you show me? Please quote an exact post where I state my beliefs about 911.

Can you do that ? Or are you just assuming ?

While you are at it state exactly what a fire in which 55 people were killed has anything whatsoever to do with 911. Can you do that ?

Or are you going to keep pretending I or anybody else should actually give two hoots what you think , assume or post?

Not as much as the comparison some idiots make of a third world toy factory fire to the wtc global collapse.

Actually you are the one for which humor came to mind at the site of 55 dead. Why don't you enlighten me? I never said it was humorous. What’s the matter didn't you have a real defense for your lame comparisons?

very well, your continued claim that concrete and masonry buildings have more in common with structural steel buildings than other structural steel buildings is bunk, and hereby debunked

No I want some real debunking not pretend because your continued claim that the WTC was just one big highway overpass or third world toy factory just doesn't cut it.

as i told you in another thread, im more than happy to remain in "debunker world" (AKA reality) where steel is more like steel than concrete

Mod WarningI was initially going to move this thread to AAH, but have reconsidered, and removed the bickering only.

I know that these 'parody' threads are getting tiresome, but the OPs do not usually breach the MA other than baiting exactly the response they get. That is something the mod team will review if it happens regularly enough, so be advised LastChild - you need to consider starting threads on more appropriate tones in future. Try opening a topic you actually want to discuss instead of lighting a flame and standing back to snipe.

My best advice to the rest of you would be to ignore them. All that happens when you respond - exactly as intended - is that the mods get extra work.

Advising as a member, and not a mod, I would also add that the ... wrong-ness .. of any of these claims gets overlooked when you respond in anger or mockery.

LastChild, you have failed to answer me in this thread.

LastChild fails to explain his position, he just mocks.

LastChild, the Kader Toy Factory is a good analogy. It proves that fire can cause the complete destruction of steel buildings.

Now please explain why I am wrong.

quoted for agreement.

But, I hope that when he's had a little sleep, he'll wake up refreshed, and ready to answer in his usual forthright manner.

The founders of the JREF Ninja Wave would be saddened to learn to what extent it's become a conspiracy theorist support group.

The Kator Toy factory is not a good analogy because it is not a steel constructed high-rise suffering global collapse from structural damage to a few floors and pockets of fire to a small percent of the building.

If the Kator toy factory suffered structural damage and fire to the same percent of the building that the WTC suffered and that fire did not spread through out the entire building it would not have collapsed. In fact the Kator Toy factory was a sweat shop shack in a third world nation that was totally engulfed in flames and wasn't even completely repaired yet from previous fires.

The only reason debunkers grasp at straws like the Kator Toy factory or highway overpasses (that collapse and are caught by the lower overpass not progressing to global collapse like the WTC) is because there is no example in the history of steel constructed high-rise buildings suffering global collapse from anything other then explosives.

It doesn't happen. That's why you are wrong. You’re welcome.

Really? "Not quite as amusing" you mean?

Did I say you did? Oh wait, you did say you find it amusing right? But not quite as amusing as somebody comparing the WTC's to a toy factory right?

Does this have meaning in some language I am missing (it does not in English).

The first sentence makes sense. The rest is absurdist.
