wikipedia conspiracy theory

I think a twoofer has edited the definition of Conspiracy Theory on wikipedia:

"A conspiracy theory alleges a coordinated group is, was, and/or will be secretly working together to commit illegal or wrongful actions including hiding the existence of the group and its activities. In notable cases the hypothesis contradicts what was or is represented as the mainstream explanation for historical or current events. The phrase is also used dismissively to label hypothetical speculation as being untrue or outlandish." (citation needed)

While I can't remember the original entry, it was not this.

Changed on May 7th, 2008 from:

"A conspiracy theory attributes the ultimate cause of an event or chain of events (usually political, social or historical events), or the concealment of such causes from public knowledge, to a secret, and often deceptive plot by a group of powerful or influential people or organizations. Many conspiracy theories imply that major events in history have been dominated by conspirators who manipulate political happenings from behind the scenes."

This seems more accurate.

JihadJane actually thinks its okay for truthers to call for the murder of people they disagree with.
911-Investigator believes that Jews should have no rights of any kind, even those dictated by the Constitution.

Well, the Jews run absolutely everything, everywhere, so that's no big suprise to me.

I believe they even created Islam and Christianity, and then set them against each other, so we'd kill each other off leaving just the Chosen People behind to inhabit the earth.

Yeah, it's worked out pretty well. We Jews have mostly stayed out of harm's way for the last 1400 years, and suffered no casualties. I'd call the plan a smashing success.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must leave the room in which I have set up my internet connection, a mandated-by-Israeli-law bomb shelter...

I apologize if you took offense, I was being sarcastic. I had hoped I'd been posting around here enough that people would realize what I think and realize I was joking.

My apologies.

No, it wasn't taking offense at all. No apologies necessary. Merely continuing the sardonic tone.

Of course, now that I've "explained" it it's lost its oomph. I blame the Jews. Well, this Jew.
