Anyone do/got/heard of Draw Me A Tree

A magician friend of mine tried to do this on me. He has a history of dipping his toes in woos murky waters. He built the routine up and said the way you draw a tree and sign it can tell a lot about someone.
"Dude, this is cold reading."
"No it's not it is really good. The way you draw the branches show that......."
"That would work with anybody, it's cold reading."
"It's a good ice breaker. Good for meeting girls."
"Fair enough then."
He said he was skeptical at first and that is why he bought the DVD. Now he is convinced it works, or is trying to make me believe it does.

Anyone have thoughts about the DVD.
